Meet our Team
Neil Jefferies
Executive Director
Neil is responsible for the day to day management of the OPF and ensuring that the Foundation serves the global digital preservation community. Outside of that he is a Digital Innovation Specialist for the Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford where he also teaches and does a small amount of research in the Digital Humanities. He is also a Director of Data Futures GmbH, a not-for-profit focussed on the creation of sustainable scholarly resources and supporting tools.

Julie Allen
Executive Director
Julie is responsible for the day to day management of the OPF and ensuring that the Foundation serves the global digital preservation community. Outside of that, she is the Executive Director of the Netherlands-Canada Chamber of Commerce, and in that role is responsible for the promotion of trade, investment, industry, commercial services and cultural affairs between Canada and the Netherlands.

Carl Wilson
Technical Lead
Carl leads all of our technical activities. An open source enthusiast, he is an experienced software engineer with a focus on software quality through testing. His professional interest is using virtualisation, automation and continuous delivery techniques to improve the software development process.

Darren Dignam
Systems Administrator
Darren is a versatile software developer and open source enthusiast with an interest in all aspects of system design and implementation. He manages OPF’s online servers and services helping to streamline and develop our automated infrastructure administration.

Helena Watson
Marketing Officer
Helena is our Marketing Officer and is responsible for developing our brand and leading external campaigns across OPFs channels and platforms. She also assists in coordinating our events, communications and the webinar series.

Georgia Moppett
Community Officer
Georgia supports our members and the OPF community by facilitating engagement through events, projects and initiatives. Outside of OPF, Georgia volunteers for various heritage networks assisting with digital content creation, access, and intellectual assets.

Lana Emerson
Office Manager
Lana manages the financial and administrative functions of the OPF office. She is a part-qualified accountant and an experienced administrator.

Amanda Slotboom
Administrative Super Queen
Amanda is responsible for the administrative day-to-day tasks of the OPF, project management and tracking. She also provides direct support to the Executive Director and board. When not at the OPF, Amanda volunteers to support veterans and encourage remembrance.
