
JHOVE 1.32.1 is now available. JHOVE is an open-source file format identification, validation and characterisation tool for digital preservation and part of the OPF reference toolset.
Version 1.32.1 contains the following changes:
- Error messages now include a link to the OPF Wiki page that explains the error in more detail.
- Wiki links are generated in XML, JSON and Text reporting modules as well as the GUI viewer.
- The JHOVE XML reporting schema has been updated to reflect the above.
- Some minor fixes for the formatting of German language error messages.
- We’ve integrated our GitHub releases with Zenodo so that our releases can be cited. You can cite all versions of JHOVE using 10.5281/zenodo.14824307
