The Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) and the Dutch Digital Heritage Network (DDHN) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding to reaffirm their commitment to work cooperatively.
This agreement builds upon the existing MOU between the OPF and the Netherlands Coalition for Digital Preservation (NCDD). The NCDD merged into the Dutch Digital Heritage Network in 2018, creating a single national collaboration platform for all institutions.
The new agreement was signed on 24 January 2019 at the National Library of the Netherlands during an OPF Board meeting.
Martin Wrigley, Executive Director of the OPF, said:
The OPF and DDHN share common goals to advance digital preservation knowledge and technology. I am pleased to renew the agreement and look forward to further collaboration with the DDHN.”
Marcel Ras, Digital Preservation Programme Manager of the DDHN, said:
This agreement commits our two organisations to continue to share work plans and collaborate on joint activities. The DDHN and OPF have complementary areas of expertise and this partnership benefits both our memberships and the rest of the digital preservation community.”
